SB 827 formerly Sb 696 is signed by the Governor
 
Governor Schwarzenegger signed SB 827 last night which is the last step in the process for this important bill to become law on January 1, 2010.

 

Thank you to everyone who helped pass this key legislation by appearing at legislative hearings, writing letters and contacting decision-makers.

 

SB 827 will repeal the ban on more than 1,300 air quality permits allowing many important projects to move forward. We will keep you informed of South Coast Air Quality Management District efforts to comply with the law...
