The Vallecitos Water District, a member of the Encina Wastewater Authority, is asking for help from SCAP Member Agencies.

During the recent storms, Vallecitos experienced some small spills into a small, privately owned recreational lake. The new owners of the lake, as well as residents around the lake, are concerned about contamination resulting from the spills.

The District is looking for information on spills that has been prepared for the general public regarding relatively minor spills during significant rain/runoff events as to the fate and effects of the pollutants and environmental impacts on the receiving water. Information in any format (i.e., printed, video, photographs, etc.) would be appreciated.
